A Grand Canyon

100 years ago today the Grand Canyon was declared a National Park.

We pulled into the lodge at the Grand Canyon
after a long drive from Denver. It was late.
We immediately registered and went to our room.

In the morning we walked through the lobby to
the porch overlooking the Grand Canyon.
Our oldest daughter, Lynnae, then seven years old,
stopped dead in her tracks and said, “Wow!
God really did a good job on this one.”
